Autopilot Driver (Conductor Bilingue, Turno Nocturno), Monterrey

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to help accelerate vehicle level data collection for theAutopilot team. The Autopilot Engineer will help drive improvement of Tesla’s Autopilot system by operating and becoming an expert on our prototype data collection vehicles across Monterrey. This role requires a high level of flexibility, as frequent travel is necessary on this team.

Functions:
• Drive a local pre-determined test route daily with the same vehicle to record data for, and provide subjective feedback on, the performance and stabilities of sensor hardware.

• Start/Stop recording devices and do minor equipment/software debugging when necessary.

• Analyze data collected during driving to “sanity check” it before handing to engineers and leadership.

• Write daily drive reports detailing observations and issues for engineers and leadership to follow up on.

• Be on-call for questions and requests from engineers and leadership on specific occurrences.• Check vehicle is in proper and safe working order every day, and if not, notify team for repair.

Requerimientos:


• Clean driving record and safe driving habits.

• Excellent attention to detail and highly observational.

• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish required.

• Excellent PC skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), navigating hard drives, making data transfers and checking data.

• Good navigational skills.
• Familiarity with ADAS/Autopilot systems and their sensors is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and how they work, such as brakes and power assisted steering, is preferred.
